April 08, 2012: Local Plant Expert Will Answer Questions
Donald Haynie, a Lancaster native who grew up near Lively and formerly owned Buffalo Spring Herb Farm in Raphine, VA, will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the gardens at Mitchell's Manor in Lancaster during Garden Week.
Haynie designed the gardens at Mitchell's Manor, home of Anita and Norman Tadlock, which will be on the tour for Historic Garden Week on April 25.
Haynie is currently consulting on gardens for Colonial Williamsburg and other herb-related projects. He has consulted for the Mary Ball Washington Museum and Library and for Stratford Hall.
